Here we are again! It’s wild that this is our third consecutive year doing the Amsterdam Pride Canal Parade. We’re on a roll.
This year, the weather was fantastic—a real “Hallelujiah” moment compared to last year’s rainy experience (which, to be fair, was still a lot of fun). Regardless of the weather, Pride is important to us because visibility is important. ROMEO is not just the largest European dating platform for the rainbow community; it’s also proudly gay-owned and operated. We’ve always been by the community, for the community.
We’re here to stay! 🦄

What does Pride mean to you?
This year’s Amsterdam Pride theme was “TOGETHER,” a powerful reminder we are strongest when we stick to each other. As in previous years, we brought out our iconic Footprint signs, but this time we added some ‘protest signs’ that attendees held high for the onlookers to see. These signs read, “Dates for everyone,” “Friends for everyone,” and “Love for everyone,” reminding everyone that ROMEO is a place where everyone in the rainbow community is welcome—and deserving of finding Dates, Friends, and Love.
Bottom row, third on the left is is Kai, one of our users who won a spot on the boat this year. Fifth and sixth are Max and his boyfriend Jaafar, two other winners.

Our guestlist was packed. We had special guests like the famed Dutch rapper King Faisel, German trans influencer Berfin (an incredible activist who’s always using her platform to spread fun and education), the PlanetRomeo Foundation (who worked so hard last year to aid organizations in need around the world) and ROMEO’s partners in crime for the thrid Pride in a row: DJ Raphaella Brown and emcee Lynn Stephans who got the party started and never let it stop! 🔥
