It’s been quite the year for ROMEO. From returning to Pride after the pandemic to redesigning our Footprints, we’ve been busy – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Over the last 365 days, you have sent over 4.3 billion messages. Yes, billion. Tha’s a whole lot of chatting! This means you have sent 12 million messages every day and almost half a million messages every hour.
ROMEOs are also very… visual people. In total, you uploaded 108K pictures in 2022. Every second, there is one photo being uploaded somewhere in the world. Check out Eyecandy to browse the hottest users online or help us rate the latest uploads here.
We have 3 million users worldwide, and that number keeps on growing. But where exactly are all these new joiners from? Well, as you can see in our list, new signups are coming in from all over the world!
Of course, ROMEOs love to send Footprints. After all, Footprints are the best way to break the ice! The number one Footprint that dominated this year was “Very Hot! 🔥🌶”, a true ROMEO classic.
Groups are an essential ROMEO feature that lets you connect with likeminded people who share your interests. As of this year, there are 24.000 new Groups! To check them out, you will need to use a browser – whether on your computer or phone. App stores think that our Groups are “too hot” for the apps.
This year, travel came back. Hard. And so did your use of ROMEO’s Travel feature! The most popular destination for ROMEOs was Berlin, but you also visited Bangkok, Barcelona, Rome, Cologne, Budapest, Maspalomas and many more.
