Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is a day none of us can escape. Whether you’re going to have a romantic date night, cry about being single (🙋♂️), or spray paint your ex’s car, you will be doing something on February 14th.
To get some ideas, we wanted to see what some of our ROMEOs were planning this year. Here they are pictured with their favourite flowers, giving us some inspiration on what to do (or not to do) this Valentine’s… depends on how you look at it.
Idea 1: Have a traditional couple’s night
For Dayne and Jake, Valentine’s is a day to celebrate how happy they are together. They’ll be doing that with a romantic dinner followed by great sex. A classic! They say that they are still in their honeymoon phase. BTW, this is their first photo shoot together as a couple. Go show them some them some ❤️ on their Instagrams: @damn.dayne and @jorenjakesmith. Idea 2: Meet someone new
Max used to be in a relationship and he loved to spend Valentine’s with his then-boyfriend. Now that he’s single, he’s ready to meet someone new. He doesn’t have a specific type in mind, he only needs that chemistry. Try finding love this year, just like @Maxmozess.
Idea 3: Go out and party with friends!
Erik will do just that. He never says no to a party, but he wouldn’t complain if a hookup ‘happens’ unexpectedly on Valentine’s. For now, he plans to go to Club Church in Amsterdam, like a true romantic. He says Feb 14th should be without expectation, but with a lot of fun. Cheers, @thered_erik!
Idea 4: Have a hot night with your hot friend
Maksim likes blooming roses… and we’re not really talking about flowers (👀). He says he likes to keep his hands busy on Valentine’s Day. So maybe try something new this year and do it like Maks? Make sure you have a generous amount of lube. Thank you for the naughty idea @your.boyfriend.material.
Idea 5: Have a romantic night in
A little dinner with candles, cuddles, and a romcom is just how Afif and his husband like to spend their Valentine’s Day. Cheesy? That’s kind of the point. Although they say that it’s just another day in the calendar, they will still take the time to celebrate that they found each other, and that’s beautiful. Idea 6: Be your own Valentine!
Everil can can buy himself flowers. This year he will spend Valentine’s in bed watching some Netflix and eating a pack of Oreos. For him, it’s all capitalist bullshit. Hit him up on Instagram any other day that’s not February 14th on @everilkills!
Idea 7: Organize a party 🥳
This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday, so William and Bas are planning a party for… Friday. You see, the kind of party they’re throwing just wouldn’t work on a Tuesday.
